(NASDAQ: RDNT). RadNet is a leading U.S.-based radiology company and the nation’s largest operator of freestanding, fixed-site diagnostic imaging centers.
This acquisition marks a major milestone not only for See-Mode but also for Singapore’s deep tech ecosystem, showcasing the global potential of AI-driven healthcare innovation born in Southeast Asia.
See-Mode was one of the earliest investments we made after launching Cocoon Capital. We first met the founders, Sadaf Monajemi and Milad Mohammadzadeh, in 2018 when they had just started the company. At the time, they were pre-revenue, pre-product, and brimming with bold vision, precisely the kind of founders we love backing at Cocoon. We led their pre-seed round and proudly supported them through each subsequent stage of growth.
The company’s evolution has been remarkable. Originally focused on using AI to assist in stroke prevention, See-Mode pivoted into other clinical applications, integrating seamlessly into radiology workflows and demonstrating clear improvements in diagnostic efficiency and accuracy. Their suite of solutions is now utilised in radiology groups across multiple regions, including Australia, Canada, and the United States.
The acquisition by RadNet not only validates the clinical value of See-Mode’s technology but also represents a compelling vote of confidence in Singapore’s healthtech innovation on the global stage.
